DeAnn Prouty

deann@proutysupportplanning.com - 952-240-6121

DeAnn is the owner and founder of Prouty Support Planning.  She established Prouty Support Planning in 2014 fueled with the desire to help people navigate the complex, and sometimes, overwhelming service system for people with disabilities. She strives to be a partner to and advocate for her clients.  DeAnn likes a challenge and learning something new every day. She finds satisfaction in taking some of the work off of her clients’ overflowing plates and educating them so they can better understand the services options available to them. There is a sense of accomplishment knowing the individuals trust her with their planning needs and through their work together have a sense of empowerment as well as an increased knowledge about how services work.

DeAnn has been a certified support planner for ten years. Her formal education includes a B.S. in Sociology with an emphasis in Human Services and a minor in psychology from South Dakota State University, but DeAnn firmly believes real education has come from the literally thousands of individuals she has had the privilege of working with over the past 25 plus years.

In her free time, DeAnn enjoys spending time with her husband and three boys, running, reading, bonfires, listening to music and riding her motorcycle.

Stacy grew up on a family farm just south of the Twin Cities.  She still enjoys being out on the farm harvesting veggies or selling at farmers markets. Stacy enjoys being active with her family, traveling and spending time with friends.

Stacy began working in the human services field over 14 years ago. She holds a bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of River Falls and a minor in Communication.

Stacy has always had a strong desire to work with people on a direct, personal level. Stacy feels lucky to have joined the Prouty Support Planning team in the spring of 2017, after working with a non-profit, human services agency for 13 years.

Stacy feels that being a certified support planner allows her to build relationships with families while helping them navigate the complex world of disability services. Stacy is thrilled to be an independent support planner because it allows her to tailor her assistance to others based on their unique and individual needs.

Susan was born in Iowa but escaped and moved to Minnesota when she was 18 months old and has lived here ever since.

Susan has been involved in the people business since she was 7 years old when she and her siblings put on "Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs" as a fund raiser for a neighborhood child who had cancer.
